For official documents, you'll want to reach out to the right government office directly:
- Divorce and family court records: Contact the Court Administrator at the District Court in the county where the case was filed
- Divorce verifications: Request from the Minnesota Department of Health, Office of Vital Records
- Property and land records: Reach the County Recorder or Registrar of Titles in the county where the property sits
- Birth, death, and marriage certificates: Contact the Minnesota Department of Health at (651) 201-5970
- Criminal background checks: Go through the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA)
